The Process

At the beginning of the semester, my professor challenged us to start our experimentation off with the elusive genre of the tweet. And although I don't think she expected anyone to take her up on this offer, I started sifting through my account that had been de-activated for the past two years. As I stared at my screen, feelings that I had forced out of my forethoughts resurfaced and memories flooded into my mind. While six words may have been ambitious to focus on for a semester-long project, these words were fully loaded to me. Seemingly vague, they were referencing a breakup that turned worse after a boy cut me out of his life. I never was able to fully express how I felt through a tweet that all of my followers could view, which is why I thought the piece welcoming to a bit of reworking and reformatting through altering various lenses, genres, audiences, and mediums.
